The 9^th World POPS Meet & Championships will be held at Skydive Ramblers Toogoolawah, Queensland, Australia Friday 25^th April to Saturday 3^rd May 2008 - 4 way FS Scrambles,4 way FS National Teams [max. 2 per country], 8 Way International FS Speed Stars, individual & team precision accuracy, sport accuracy, 2 way Freefly, 2 way sequential CF (CRW), Wingsuit Flocks, Hit'n'Rock, big ways, record attempts, specialty & novelty jumps, fun jumps; Opening Ceremony and Dinner on ANZAC Day, 25th April, Closing Dinner & Presentation Night May 3rd.

Program of Events

General

Opening Ceremony will commence approx. 4pm on the afternoon of Friday 25^th April.
Competition Events will commence with 4 way FS Scrambles on Saturday 26^th April.
Hit'n'Rock, Medals & Awards Presentation Dinner and Closing Dinner will be held on Saturday 3^rd May.
Competition events, fun jumps, organised big ways, record attempts & speciality jumps throughout the meet.
DZ open 7 days and available for fun and practice jumps before and after the meet; PUPS most welcome but only POPS may enter competitions and record attempts.
Organised or do-your-own day and/or half day trips & mini-tours for those not jumping. Partners' Program will be notified on this website shortly.
Informal functions and/or drinks & meals either at the DZ or in the local pubs in Toogoolawah every night.

Competitions & Records Program

The following outlines the proposed program for competition events and record attempts. It should be noted that this is a tentative program, and is of course subject to final numbers entered in each event and record attempt, prevailing weather conditions, availability of aircraft, and other matters outside the control of the organisers or operators.

Day 1	Friday 25th April	4pm Opening Ceremony and Dinner at DZ; no competition events.
Day 2	Saturday 26th April	4 Way FS Scrambles, Sport Accuracy
Day 3	Sunday 27th April	Formation Loads, Accuracy, Sport Accuracy, CF
Day 4	Monday 28th April	Formation Loads, Accuracy, Sport Accuracy, CF, 8 way FS International Speed Stars
Day 5	Tuesday 29th April	Formation Loads, 8 way FS International Speed Stars, Freefly, Wingsuit Flocks, 4 Way FS National Teams
Day 6	Wednesday 30th April	No competition events - Australia Zoo Excursion
Day 7	Thursday 1st May	Completion of competitions, Formation Loads, POPS, SOS, JOS Record Attempts
Day 8	Friday 2nd May	Completion of competitions, Formation Loads, POPS, SOS, JOS Record Attempts
Day 9	Saturday 3rd May	Hit n Rock, competition events scheduled to finish at or before 12 noon, 6.30pm Presentations & Awards Closing Dinner at Showgrounds

Notes:

Competition completion is the first priority
Formation Loads/Big Way POPS/SOS/JOS preparation jumps first loads every morning commencing Day 3 Sunday 27th April. - note daily schedule from this day:
- Breakfast at DZ from 6.30am.
- Big Ways Wheels Off 7.30am.
- Competitions Start 8.00am.
Fun/practice jumps every day for POPS & PUPS.
